I&E Technician

Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for I&E Technicians to join our team in Sealy, TX. Our Fabrication Shop specializes in Compression and Production Equipment. I&E Technicians will be responsible for building and installing instrumentation and tubing for packages, also responsible for maintenance, repair, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of I&E equipment.
Works on electrical and instrumentation equipment associated with plant processing equipment.
Troubleshoots and repairs compressor panel control wiring and associates devices.
Reads and understands P&ID's (symbols, tags and instrument lines), wiring diagrams and instrument loop drawings.
Maintains and works on different types of control valves and transmitters.
Works on electrical systems ranging from 12vcd to 480 vac; electrical meters and diagnostics tools for troubleshooting electrical systems.
Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit using such tools as a hacksaw, pipe threader, rules and conduit benders.
Pulls wiring through wiring raceway.
Splices wire, twists or solders wires together and applies tape or terminal caps.
Connects power cables to equipment and installs grounding leads.
Bends and works with 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 inch stainless tubing.
Installs control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays and circuit- breaker panels, and fastens in place with screws or bolts using hand or power tools.
Performs other duties as required.
Minimum 3 years of experience as I&E Tech in gas processing preferred
Knowledge of PLC's and control systems
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical control systems and to maintain instrument systems
Understand how to read and translate the information found within all schematic wiring P&ID's process diagrams and experience with applicable codes and standards.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
